Our mission is to inspire people to discover happiness in the workplace by providing a transparent and supportive platform for all your work-related needs. Our services are designed to promote a safe environment for our members to discover new opportunities, share advice, and exchange ideas all over the world.

Introduction

1.0 Contract

You agree that by clicking “Sign Up”, “Join” or similar, registering, accessing or using our services (described below), you are agreeing to enter into a legally binding contract with ConnektUs (ConnektUs Australia Pty Ltd) (even if you are using our Services on behalf of a company). If you do not agree to this contract (“Contract” or “User Agreement”), do not click “Join Now” (or similar) and do not access or otherwise use any of our Services. If you wish to terminate this contract, at any time you can do so by closing your account.

Services

This Contract applies to ConnektUs.com.au, apps, communications and other services that state that they are offered under this Contract (“Services”), including the offsite collection of data for those Services, such as our ads and the “Apply with ConnektUs”.

ConnektUs

Members (“Individuals”) or (“Employers”) may use ConnektUs for different purposes.

You are entering into this Contract with ConnektUs (also referred to as “we” and “us”).

As a Member of our Services, the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data are subject to this Privacy Policy (which includes our Cookie Policy and other documents referenced in this Privacy Policy) and updates.

1.1 Changes to ConnektUs

We may modify this Contract or our Privacy Policy at any time without notice. If you object to any changes, you may close your account. Your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to these terms means that you are consenting to the updated terms as of their effective date.

2. Obligations

2.1 Service Eligibility

ConnektUs is an employment social media platform designed to provide a transparent and supportive community to share ideas, and experiences and supports one another through our career journey. You must be 14 years of age or older to use ConnektUs.

To use the Services, you agree that: (1) you must be 14 years of age or older (2) you will only have one ConnektUs account, which must be in your real name; and (3) you are not already restricted by ConnektUs from using the Services; and (4) you are not a recruitment agency or a third party acting on behalf of another organization to hire staff. Creating an account with false information is a violation of our terms, including accounts registered on behalf of others or persons under the age of 14.

2.2 Your Account

Members are account holders. You agree to: (1) keep your password confidential; (2) follow the law and our list of Dos and Don’ts. You are responsible for anything that happens through your account unless you close it or report misuse.

2.3 Payment

If you buy any of our paid Services, you agree to pay us the applicable fees and taxes. Failure to pay these fees will result in the termination of your paid Services. Also, you agree that:

·       All of your purchases of Services are subject to ConnektUs’s Refund Policy.

·       Job ads purchased by employers will remain on ConnektUs’s platform and any affiliated platforms until removed by you (“The Employer”).

·       ConnektUs cannot be held responsible for the performance of any job ad, the quality, or the number of candidate applications received.

·       Payment must be paid by the terms outlined on the invoice provided (14 days).

2.4 Notices and Messages

You agree that we will provide notices and messages to you in the following ways: (1) within the Service, or (2) sent to the contact information you provided us (e.g., email, mobile number, physical address). You agree to keep your contact information up to date.

2.5 Sharing

Our Services allow messaging and sharing of information in many ways, such as your profile, posts, links to news articles, job postings, and more. Information and content that you share or post may be seen by other Members. Members (“Employers”) who use ConnektUs for the purpose of hiring, can only view Members (“Individual”) profiles if services have been purchased to do so. For Members (“Individual”) job searching activities, we do not notify any other member of your interest in a job, other than the Member (“Employer”) who has posted the job opportunity on ConnektUs.

We are not obligated to publish any information or content on our Service and can remove it with or without notice.

3. Content Rights

Any content posted or submitted on the ConnektUs platform is owned by ConnektUs (ConnektUs Australia Pty Ltd)

ConnektUs has the right to use, copy, modify, distribute, and publish information and content that you provide through our Services and other associated services without any further consent, notice, or compensation to you. ConnektUs also has the right to use information and content submitted to the ConnektUs Platform for advertisement purposes with your consent or notice.

3.2 Service Availability

At any given time, ConnektUs may change, suspend or discontinue any of our services. We may also adjust or modify our prices by providing the required notice as governed by law.

3.3 Breaches

ConnektUs has the right to limit or remove your access to use the services, including permanent access to the ConnektUs platform, limiting job applications, numbers of messages, or the number of posts allowed. ConnektUs reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate your account if you breach this contract (above points) or you are misusing the services. (E.g not obeying our terms and condition, including the ‘What to do’ and ‘What not to do’.

3.5 Intellectual Property

ConnektUs reserves all of its intellectual property rights, trademarks, and logos used in connection with all services. ConnektUs, phrases, service marks, graphics, and logos used for our Services are trademarks or registered trademarks of ConnetkUs Australia Pty Ltd.

4. Disclaimer

ConnektUs makes no guarantee or warrants that the services provided, including any affiliates, will be provided uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Termination

You (“Member”) can terminate your services with ConnektUs by choosing to deactivate your account.

ConnektUs may also terminate this contract at any time with notice if you are in breach of our terms and conditions. On termination, you lose the right to access or use any of our services.

6. ConnektUs (“What to do”) and (“What not to do”)

6.1. What to do

You agree that you will:

1. Comply with all applicable laws, including all terms and conditions outlined in this document relating to ConnektUs and all affiliated programs and services.
2. Provide accurate information to us and keep it updated;
3. Use your real name on your profile; and
4. Post content that is true and accurate at all times.
5. Use the Services in a professional manner.

6.2. What NOT to do

You agree that you will not:

1. Create a false identity on ConnektUs or create an account for anyone (“Member”) other than yourself.
2. Copy, use, disclose, or distribute any information obtained from the Services.
3. Disclose information that you do not have the consent to disclose (such as confidential information of others (including your employer));
4. Violate the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets or other proprietary rights.
5. Post anything that contains software viruses, worms, or any other harmful code.
6. Use any inappropriate or harmful language towards other members
7. Use ConnektUs platform if you are a recruitment agency

7. Refund Policy

Under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, you may qualify for a refund. For example, if you’re using our services for yourself (instead of on behalf of a business):

ConnektUs cannot guarantee the performance of any of our services or affiliates’ services including the placement of job ads.

All purchased made via our platform are not refundable. Please ensure that all services are cancelled prior to the next auto-renewal date to avoid future transactions.

8. Partnership Terms

• Eligibility: Membership in the partnership program is available to any registered organization willing to provide a discount to their services.
• Discount Offer: Partners can assign to offer their services at a specific discount as highlighted in our sign up form. At any time, the organization may request to alter these discounts.
• Abuse of Program: Any misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity related to the partnership program may result in termination of membership and/or legal action.
• Cancellation: Partners have the right to terminate their partnership with ConnektUs at any time by providing a cancellation request in writing. Additional fees may apply if partners choose to rejoin.

9. Members Access to Partners

1. Eligibility: Membership in the partnership program is available to current members of [ConnektUs Australia Pty Ltd] – [ConnektUs App] (“Members”).
2. Discount Offer: Members are eligible to receive claim discounts to all services highlighted in our ‘Partnership’ listings. The discount is applicable only to services/products directly purchased by the Member for personal use and cannot be transferred or combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.
3. Duration and Renewal: Members access to all discounts are subject to the [start date] and [end date] purchased. At the end of that given term, all access to each member will be removed, unless the member has renewed via our platform.
4. Responsibly: All discounts outlined via the ‘ConnektUs App’ are unique to our platform and are not ‘affiliate codes’. ConnektUs is not held responsible if a member claims the discount and the organization does not respond, or follow through with the discount highlighted.
5. Memberships: Users have the choice to select from three subscription options to access our exclusive parter discounts.
   (i). 1 month subscription.
   (ii). 3 month subscription.
   (iii). 12 month subscription
6. All subscriptions purchased via the ConnektUs app is managed by your operating systems subscription model. All subscriptions can be cancelled via your device.
   (i). All subscriptions are auto-renewed in line with Google Play & Apple policy.
7. ConnektUs cannot guarantee the performance of any of our partners or partnership discounts.
8. ConnektUs cannot take any responsibility partner discounts that are not honoured, or not responsive.
