Our services are designed to promote a safe environment for our members to discover new opportunities, share advice, and exchange ideas all over the world.
You agree that by clicking “Sign Up”, “Join” or similar, registering, accessing or using our services (described below), you are agreeing to enter into a legally binding contract with ConnektUs (ConnektUs Australia Pty Ltd) (even if you are using our Services on behalf of a company). If you do not agree to this contract (“Contract” or “User Agreement”), do not click “Join Now” (or similar) and do not access or otherwise use any of our Services. If you wish to terminate this contract, at any time you can do so by closing your account.
This Contract applies to ConnektUs.com.au, apps, communications and other services that state that they are offered under this Contract (“Services”), including the offsite collection of data for those Services, such as our ads and the “Apply with ConnektUs”.
Members (“Individuals”) or (“Employers”) may use ConnektUs for different purposes.
You are entering into this Contract with ConnektUs (also referred to as “we” and “us”).
As a Member of our Services, the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data are subject to this Privacy Policy (which includes our Cookie Policy and other documents referenced in this Privacy Policy) and updates.
We may modify this Contract or our Privacy Policy at any time without notice. If you object to any changes, you may close your account. Your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to these terms means that you are consenting to the updated terms as of their effective date.
ConnektUs is an employment social media platform designed to provide a transparent and supportive community to share ideas, and experiences and supports one another through our career journey. You must be 14 years of age or older to use ConnektUs.
To use the Services, you agree that: (1) you must be 14 years of age or older (2) you will only have one ConnektUs account, which must be in your real name; and (3) you are not already restricted by ConnektUs from using the Services; and (4) you are not a recruitment agency or a third party acting on behalf of another organization to hire staff. Creating an account with false information is a violation of our terms, including accounts registered on behalf of others or persons under the age of 14.
Members are account holders. You agree to: (1) keep your password confidential; (2) follow the law and our list of Dos and Don’ts. You are responsible for anything that happens through your account unless you close it or report misuse.
If you buy any of our paid Services, you agree to pay us the applicable fees and taxes. Failure to pay these fees will result in the termination of your paid Services. Also, you agree that:
· All of your purchases of Services are subject to ConnektUs’s Refund Policy.
· Job ads purchased by employers will remain on ConnektUs’s platform and any affiliated platforms until removed by you (“The Employer”).
· ConnektUs cannot be held responsible for the performance of any job ad, the quality, or the number of candidate applications received.
· Payment must be paid by the terms outlined on the invoice provided (14 days).
You agree that we will provide notices and messages to you in the following ways: (1) within the Service, or (2) sent to the contact information you provided us (e.g., email, mobile number, physical address). You agree to keep your contact information up to date.
Our Services allow messaging and sharing of information in many ways, such as your profile, posts, links to news articles, job postings, and more. Information and content that you share or post may be seen by other Members. Members (“Employers”) who use ConnektUs for the purpose of hiring, can only view Members (“Individual”) profiles if services have been purchased to do so. For Members (“Individual”) job searching activities, we do not notify any other member of your interest in a job, other than the Member (“Employer”) who has posted the job opportunity on ConnektUs.
We are not obligated to publish any information or content on our Service and can remove it with or without notice.
Any content posted or submitted on the ConnektUs platform is owned by ConnektUs (ConnektUs Australia Pty Ltd)
ConnektUs has the right to use, copy, modify, distribute, and publish information and content that you provide through our Services and other associated services without any further consent, notice, or compensation to you. ConnektUs also has the right to use information and content submitted to the ConnektUs Platform for advertisement purposes with your consent or notice.
At any given time, ConnektUs may change, suspend or discontinue any of our services. We may also adjust or modify our prices by providing the required notice as governed by law.
ConnektUs has the right to limit or remove your access to use the services, including permanent access to the ConnektUs platform, limiting job applications, numbers of messages, or the number of posts allowed. ConnektUs reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate your account if you breach this contract (above points) or you are misusing the services. (E.g not obeying our terms and condition, including the ‘What to do’ and ‘What not to do’.
ConnektUs reserves all of its intellectual property rights, trademarks, and logos used in connection with all services. ConnektUs, phrases, service marks, graphics, and logos used for our Services are trademarks or registered trademarks of ConnetkUs Australia Pty Ltd.
ConnektUs makes no guarantee or warrants that the services provided, including any affiliates, will be provided uninterrupted or error-free.
5. Termination
You (“Member”) can terminate your services with ConnektUs by choosing to deactivate your account.
ConnektUs may also terminate this contract at any time with notice if you are in breach of our terms and conditions. On termination, you lose the right to access or use any of our services.

Under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, you may qualify for a refund. For example, if you’re using our services for yourself (instead of on behalf of a business):
ConnektUs cannot guarantee the performance of any of our services or affiliates’ services including the placement of job ads.
All purchased made via our platform are not refundable. Please ensure that all services are cancelled prior to the next auto-renewal date to avoid future transactions.
